Ruth Williams, center of Littleton brought several of her great-grandchildren to see the Ross School at the Southern Aroostook Agricultural Museum recently. Williams taught at the one-room school in 1945. For their visit she recreated what a school day was like for the children, including a daily prayer, the flag salute and the singing of America. Williams’ granddaughter, Valerie video-taped the event to mark the occasion. From left are: Gunnar, Rebekah, David, Amalie and Erik Jacobsen from Clinton, Wis. and Robert Buza from Hammond. The Ag. Museum will be the site of a roast beef supper on Saturday, August 25 from 4:30 to 6 p.m. with the North Country Cruisers Car Show the following day.
