Wirta receives MAME scholarship

    The Manufacturers Association of Maine (MAMe) awarded 25 scholarship totaling $11,750 to students who will attend Maine colleges this fall. Areas of study include Precision Machining Technology, Marine Systems Engineering, Integrated Manufacturing Technology (IMT) and Mechanical Engineering. All students received $250, $500 or $750 awards.
    Locally, Arno Wirta of Cary was an award recipient. Wirta is attending the University of Maine at Orono.
