RYE BEACH, N.H. – The New England Women’s Golf Championships were held June 24-26 at the Abenaqui Country Club in Rye Beach.
Eleven women from Maine represented the state in a field of 108.
Alexa Rancourt, of Portland, won the NEWGA Junior Championship and finished fourth overall. Liz Coffin, a former University of Maine at Orono basketball player, finished 50th and Whitney Hand, a former Maine Junior Champion, finished 52nd.
