Of local interest — The recent cold snap has made it possible for a good road on the ice downstream, and the horsemen are scraping just below the Highland Ave. bridge for a racetrack. O. B. Buzzell has sold his double tenement house on the corner of Park and Kelleran streets to Mrs. P. D. Shaw of Ludlow, who will erect a residence in the spring. Fire at 10 p.m. badly damaged the barn owned by Mrs. Wm. Small on Leonard Street.
