Here I am again. Happy Wednesday, or whatever day you receive the prized copy of the Houlton Pioneer Times.
We are glad to see Doris Hogan back in her apartment after several days at Houlton Regional Hospital. Doris was quoted as saying, “Wish I were home but glad I went.” We are too!

Our potluck dinner was cancelled on Sunday. Some of us exchanged dinners anyway, since we had our casseroles baked and ready to eat.
What a blustery day this almost past Sunday proved. The wind blew the snow and it was a wild day outside.
Sorry to report Shirley Nason is at Madigan for a few days of rehabilitation. Her sister, Ruthie, is back in her apartment and glad for the change.
We had a lovely social and Valentine party, hosted by Charlene who put on a Bingo game for us. We had several winners who received boxed chocolates. Then we decorated our own cupcake and that was fun. Had sandwiches in the form of hearts and other delicious food. Isn’t it a nice when we can all be together to enjoy each other. Thanks to Charlene.
Our postal service has told us to expect no Saturday delivery of mail after the month of August. That will be okay as far as I’m concerned, since the post office says it is losing money and has for a long time. My thought is, and others too, why not do it before August. I’m sure there is a reason.
Brenda Kincade is a patient at Houlton Regional Hospital, at the time of this writing. Get better, Brenda.
My thoughts on angels: Try being a guardian angel to someone else today, you may find the blessings you receive are as great as the ones you give.
Keep well, healthy and do a little extra for Lent. God bless and keep you safe.
