Take Off Pounds Sensibly, Chapter 0233 of Houlton met at the Aldergate building on High Street for its Friday, Feb. 15, meeting. Diane Folsom led the meeting.
Fourteen TOPS and six KOPS (Keep Off Pounds Sensibly) were weighed. Reports were given by weight recorder Joanne Scott and secretary Brenda Lacostic.
The loser of the week was Diane Folsom with Betty Ivey and Barbara Troy as runners-up. We voted on a new KOPS and TOPS fact: to only distribute charms on a three months’ basis instead of doing it monthly.
Barbara Troy led us in several minutes of exercises. Many of the members told how they lost weight, some were struggling. Some responded to open microphone and shared their stories. Charlotte Marley heard from Barbara Grant, who is out of state for the winter and says ‘’hello’’ to all the members.
