Lloyd, Hudson L., 81, February 16, 2013.  Services will be held in Hodgdon in the spring.  Arrangements by Birmingham Funeral Home.

OLD TOWN – Hudson Leigh Lloyd, 81, died February 16, 2013 at a Bangor hospital following a brief illness. He was born October 9, 1931, in Hodgdon, a son of William and Blanch (Dickinson) Lloyd.
    He served with the United States Army during the Korean conflict. Upon his return he started a long career in the transportation industry driving truck. He was a member of Teamster Union Local 340 and a member of the Elks. During retirement, enjoyment was found camping, playing golf and spending time with family and friends. Hudson was a dedicated family man and enjoyed his many canine companions, especially his handsome boy Riley. Throughout the years, he always kept his ties with the County.
    He is survived by two children, Beth Ann McLellan and her husband, Michael of Weare, NH, and Robert Lloyd of Alton; a granddaughter, Bonnie Lee McLellan of Bangor; mother-in-law, Helen Cunliffe of Houlton; sisters, Marguerite Crane of AZ, and Pauline Carter of New Brunswick, Canada; many nieces and nephews as well as his constant companion, Riley. He was predeceased by his wife of 53 years, Patricia, in 2007 and a daughter, Lee Ann Wilcox in 2012; many brothers and sisters.
