News From Ludlow

The flags are up along the Ludlow Road and two more have been purchased — one in the memory of John McCain and one to honor Irvin Stevens since he is a veteran. Flag purchases can be made at the town office or a check can be sent to Town of Ludlow, P. O. Box 487, Houlton for $42 to cover the cost of the flag, pole and bracket.

The potholes have been filled on the Ludlow Road west of the French Road and DOT will be out to work on its section of the Ludlow Road. Our Code Enforcement Officer Barry Higgins is keeping very busy these days. Please feel free to call Barry if you have concerns or need guidance with a project.
The tax assessor is out and about doing her job. In spite of the rain the mowing is happening at the Cemetery and Town Hall. As for the nature report in Ludlow an albino fisher was sighted crossing the Ludlow Road near the Scott farm last week.
