Take Off Pounds Sensibly Chapter 0233 of Houlton met at the Aldergate building on High Street for its Friday, May 31, meeting. Sixteen ladies were weighed; five of these were KOPS (Keep Off Pounds Sensibly).
Diane Folsom, leader, was in charge. Secretary Cheryl Driscoll and weight recorder Joanne Scott gave reports. Brenda Lacostic reported that Charlotte Marley won the KOPS award for the ‘’bear’’ contest with Denise Clark as TOPS winner.
Loser of the week was Denise Clark with Mildred Gagnon and Lois Downing as runners-up. The skinny dish was held over. Notice for all members: we will meet at McDonald’s on North Street in Houlton for our Friday, June 7 meeting. (only June 7).
Plans were made for some of the members to attend a workshop in Caribou, Saturday, June 1. We all were asked to email Barbara Troy, as she is on the sick list. We finished the additions, omissions and deletions of the bylaws, readd by Charlotte Marley. A copy of the changes will be given to each member when it is ready.
