Take Off Pounds Sensibly Chapter 0233 of Houlton met at McDonald’s on the North Road for its Friday, June 7 meeting. The address was a one time meeting place.
Eighteen members were in attendance; four were KOPS (Keep Off Pounds Sensibly).
Leader Diane Folsom was in charge. Secretary Cheryl Driscoll and weight recorder Joanne Scott gave reports. Joanne will sponsor a contest soon. Members agreed we should meet after the Fourth of July.
Denise Clark, Joanne Scott and Charlotte Marley attended the workshop in Caribou recently. Charlotte was noted for her KOPS status. We will play Bingo after our meeting next week, June 14 and are asked to please bring prizes for the game.
One of our long time members presented the program, taken from the book, ‘’Love the Wheat, Lose the Weight.’’ Statistics and results were quoted from the book.
