Another sunny day this Sunday morning but not rain, as much as we have had. Nothing to do about the weather, but enjoy. Many of our tenants attended in Island Falls the service for ‘’Lum’’ Campbell, who died recently. Lum was quiet in his own way. He will be missed. Rest in peace, my friend.
George Russell and his son drove to Eastport last Thursday and dined at a restaurant serving Mexican food, much to the delight of George.
Cup cakes — delicious ones — were had at Bingo, made by Robin Chambers and brownies too, but not sure who baked those but thanks heaps, friends.
Rubin and Mae Albert, formerly of Orrington, now of the Patten area, visited Rubin’s sister-in-law Alfreda Albert over the weekend.
This is the time for graduation, weddings, showers and reunions. I hope everyone who is attending one of these functions will have a great time and enjoy.
I am the saver of cancelled stamps. If you have any you want to give me just leave under my door or drop by. Just leave a little bit of paper near the stamp please. I give them to the missions who make good use of them. Thank you very much.
On angels—Make yourself familiar with the angels, and behold them frequently in spirit for without being seen, they are present with you ( Saint Francis de Sales)
From Mark 12:34: ‘’And when Jesus saw that the scribe answered with understanding He said to him: ‘’You are not far from the kingdom of God.’’
Have a wonderful and safe week.
