Clark graduates from Gould Academy

    BETHEL – Headmaster Matt Ruby, of Gould Academy, would like to announce the graduation of Kenzie Clark, daughter of Bruce and Jayne Clark of Houlton. Kenzie has attended Gould Academy in Bethel, Maine for the past three years and is a member of the National Honor Society. During her tenure at Gould,

Kenzie has made highest honors every trimester and received the sophomore Science Book award, her junior year she received the Society of Women Engineers Certificate of Merit, the Clarkson University High School Achievement Award, and the Phi Betta Kappa Academic Achievement Award. Her senior year she received the Science Book Award, the French Book Award and the prestigious Headmasters Award.
    Over her academic career her course work has included AP Language and Composition, AP Calculus AB, AP US History, AP Chemistry, AP Biology, AP Physics, AP Government and Politics and AP Calculus BC. In addition to being a math tutor for three years, she also served as a student proctor her senior year.
    Kenzie has been an avid ski and snowboard racer at Gould. Her senior year she qualified to compete in the USASA Nationals at Copper Mountain in Colorado for snowboarding where she placed fourth in the boardercross competition. She has played varsity soccer the past three years and is an avid rock climber.
    Kenzie will attend Dartmouth College in Hanover, N.H. in the fall to pursue a degree in Molecular Biology and Biochemistry.
