Chester L. Briggs Post No. 47 would like to express its most sincere gratitude to all of the community that contributed their time and efforts to the Memorial Day tribute. The various police, sheriff, border patrol and field operations led the parade with tremendous dignity. Mr. Fagnant’s Houlton High School band played beautifully, adding
so much to the event. Fellow Legionnaires prepared and displayed a terrific display of food for all that was very much appreciated. Torrey Sylvester was a pleasant spokesperson for our Veterans and our thanks to him for his time and memories.
It was a wonderful tribute to our Veterans and servicemen and many thanks to all of those for their participation.
