The third annual youth football clinic will be held on Saturday at the Lowery field from 10-11:30 a.m. behind Houlton Southside School. All youth grades 3-8 are invited.
The teams are grade 3-4; grade 5-6, as well as grade 7-8.
The clinic will teach football basics in a fun and non-contact format. The participants will meet their coaches and the high school football staff.
Formal team practices for grades 5-6 begin on Aug.19 at the Lowery Field. Detailed information will be released prior to these practices.
The first game of the season begins on Sept. 3.
This is an opportunity for those families who have not signed up their child for the respective teams. Players should wear shorts and sneakers and bring bottled water.
