Paul Benn, 85, of Phoenix, Arizona, passed away unexpectedly on August 19. He was born on May 20, 1928 in Houlton, the son of Dr. Chauncey & Pearl Benn.
He was a Navy veteran and retired from Delta Airlines where he worked for 40 years. He had a bachelors in history from Ricker College.
He was an avid outdoorsman who loved to hunt, fish, and pick fiddleheads.
He is survived by his sons, Christan Benn of Ramsey, IN, and Timothy Benn of Tempe, AZ; three grandchildren, Casey Benn, Caitlyn Benn, and Conner Benn; and his 95 year old sister, Geraldine Duplichen of Houlton; a nephew, Richard Henderson of Winter Haven, FL, and a niece, Vicky Munroe and her husband, Floyd, of New Limerick, ME.
He was predeceased by his parents; his wife of 40 years, Greta Ann Ruttenbur; sisters, Dexa Hannigan and Alyce Benn; a brother, William; and by several very special friends.
At his request, there will be no service.
