HOULTON — Weather permitting, the Houlton Water company will be required to take a power outage for a small portion of its service territory Wednesday, Sept. 4, from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 5 will be the rain date.
The outage will affect all customers from the firehouse in Linneus on Route 2A (Bangor Road) south towards Haynesville. The outage is necessary to continue the ongoing voltage conversion and pole line upgrade project on Route 2A.
