HOULTON — Katahdin Trust Company recently presented a $3,500 contribution to Aid For Kids and the “Other Maine” Project headquartered in Houlton for upgrades to its distribution center.
Aid for Kids relocated to a new 5,000 square foot facility, which had been donated to them and is utilized by the organization as its distribution center. The size of this facility now gives the organization the ability to receive and distribute to those in need and is done directly by volunteers or through their 85 non-profit distribution partners throughout the state.
