The Greater Houlton Chamber of Commerce’s “Candidates Forum” for individuals running for election to the Houlton Town Council is Wednesday, Oct. 23 (tonight), at 6:30 p.m. in the council chambers.
The forum is a chance for candidates to answer questions, posed by members of the public. There are six candidates for two available seats on the town council. Candidates are Jerry Adams, Stan Ginnish, Wade Hanson, Carl Lord Jr., Priscilla Monroe and incumbent John White Jr.
Residents may call in questions to the town office (532-7111). The forum is open to the public and will be broadcast on the local public access television channel.
