HOULTON, Maine — Registration for the University of Maine System Spring 2014 semester starts in November at University College at Houlton. Registration dates vary by campus, with most open registration beginning in mid-month. Spring semester classes begin in January.
University College at Houlton will offer courses taught on-site at the Center as well as courses delivered via interactive television and videoconference. Students also may choose from hundreds of online campus courses. Students may earn university degrees online and on-site at the Center.
Chuck Ames, director of University College at Houlton, encourages returning students to choose their courses and register as soon as possible. “It’s a good idea to register for courses well in advance of the upcoming semester,” Ames said. “Required courses tend to fill quickly.”
New students are encouraged to meet with Jean Henderson, student advisor, before registering for classes.
