NORTH EASTON, Mass. – Wrena A. Barton, 91, of Braintree, and formerly of Quincy and Port Charlotte, Florida died on Nov. 13, 2013, at the South East Rehab in North Easton. She was the wife of the late Charles R. Barton, Jr.
Wrena was born and raised in Maine. She enjoyed oil painting, ballroom dancing, traveling, and playing the violin. She was a graduate of Hodgdon High School, Class of 1940. Wrena worked at the National Shamut Bank for 20 years as a bank teller and later as a loan officer.
She is survived by her children, Norman W. Barton and his wife, Rosita, of Virginia, Cynthia B. McDonagh and her husband, Lee Robinson, of Bridgewater, Dianna L. McDonough and her husband, Jack, of Randolph, and Holly E. Vernon of Mansfield; her sister, Marjorie Quirion of Florida; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
