On Dec. 4 the Happy Losers held the weekly meeting after the Thanksgiving holiday. Seven weighed-in and four attended. Attendance was low because as some of the members were ill with colds and appointments.
Jackie Pratt was the person who lost the most weight for the week and Kay Rideout was runner-up. Great job ladies! No program for the week. Members discussed what foods they ate at Thanksgiving. The meeting adjourned on time.
On Dec. 11, the Happy Losers held the weekly meeting at the Congregational Church vestry in Island Falls. The leader opens the meeting with the usual pledge and roll call.
Weight loss was great for the week. Brenda Raymond and Joanie Sides were the losers of the week and Riva Hawkes was runner-up. Great job ladies.
Ten weighed-in and ten attended the meeting.
No meeting for the week as we drove to the Brookside Restaurant for the annual Christmas party. Gifts were exchanged under the tree. Those attending were Dotty, Brenda, Kay, Cecilia, Jane, Shirley, Joanie, Loretta, Jackie, and Riva.
