The Journalism Education Foundation of New England, a division of the New England Newspaper & Press Association, will award a number of $1,000 scholarships to high school seniors and college
students who plan to pursue a career in journalism. Students from Connecticut, Massachusetts, Maine, New Hampshire, Rhode Island or Vermont are eligible.
To qualify, students must be a resident of New England and be a senior in high school planning to attend college the following year or a college student studying journalism or a related field. Applicants must have a GPA of 2.3 or above.
