AUGUSTA – Stanley J. Swiek, age 59, of Flacon Circle and formerly of Presque Isle, died Thursday, August 7, 2008, at his home. He was born in Caribou on February 3, 1949, the son of the late Anthony and Sabina A. (Gladyzak) Swiek.
Mr. Swiek was a graduate of Caribou High School and attended the University of Maine at Presque Isle. He had been employed at Citistreet Corp. in Auburn, MBNA, WAGM-TV and Burrelle’s Press Clipping Service in Presque Isle.
Mr. Swiek was pre-deceased by two sisters, Janice Foster and Carol McKay. He is survived by his daughter, Sara Swiek of Bangor as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins. He will be fondly remembered by John, Frank, Skip Loiko and family.
There will be no public visiting hours or funeral service. Following cremation, burial will be held at the convenience of the family.
