The Senior Citizens group met at Smokie Haulers clubhouse with 28 members and two guests present.
The blessing was given by Wanetta Townsend. The lunch was more like a large dinner. After lunch, we had the Lord’s prayer and flag salute. Secretary and treasurer’s reports were given and accepted.
We had a little game and valentine cards were part of the game.
Peggy Sanders came to visit with each member as she is leaving tomorrow for Florida for a visit with her daughter as her husband had passed away several weeks ago. She said she’d be back in the spring.
The 50/50 was won by Mildred Gagnon.
Charlotte Marley reported that as the food pantry is very low, the church is collecting food and the deacons will match any donations two to one of what we bring in at our next meeting. So let’s bring in a lot.
