Ricker Rumblings

Another month — this one March. Always remember bad storms in that month. Hope that doesn’t happen this year. I saw Norma Bates last Wednesday when she came to visit at the plaza. Her son David brought her and she was happy to see everyone and they her.

We miss our friend Ken Thibodeau, our latest nursing home occupant. Latest word is that Ken is not returning to the plaza at this time. Whatever his decision, we wish him well.
We congratulate our players, coaches, team, cheerleaders, and all those who had anything to do with basketball and the recent tournament. The games at the new Cross Center in Bangor gave us many hours of enjoyment. Thanks to all who participated including the fans.
The Bible quote for this week: “So do not worry and say ‘What are we to eat?’ or ‘What are we to drink?’ Your heavenly Father knows that you need them all. But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness,” Matthew 6:31, 32b, 33a.
Lent begins on Wednesday, March 5 with Ash Wednesday. Have you made your Lenten plans? Have a good week, one of joy and do a good act for a neighbor or friend.
