HOULTON — Houlton High School will host a Night of Jazz, Thursday, March 20 at 7 p.m. in the Houlton Community Arts Center. Five groups will perform — the Houlton High School’s jazz band, jazz combo and show choir, and the junior high jazz Band and show choir.
“We will be holding a dessert silent auction at the event, with proceeds to support scholarships given by the music boosters,” Jason Anderson said. “These scholarships are given to provide students opportunities to attend college, summer music camps, and private lessons.”
Checks and cash are accepted at the auction.
