The Purple Hat Ladies met in Linneus at Grammy’s Country Inn on March 11 for their meeting day.
A small group attended on a not so good weather day. Charlotte Marley was present to greet everyone. Wannetta Townsend gave the blessing before the meal. Cards were signed to be sent away for former members. Everyone gave their Purple Hat name and Cindy Gray, birthday gal, went over the names of the ladies who were celebrating a birthday.

A discussion was held on the next location for meeting, but it was not decided. We will learn from Charlotte when she knows.
Betty Wyman was the winner of the game, “What’s in your Purse.” Readings were given by Marie Gillotti, Cindy Gray and Charlotte Marley. St. Patrick’s Day pencils were distributed and receiving hat pins were Betty Wyman and Cindy Gray.
Attending from Cary: Jackie Colella and Brenda Lacostic; from Houlton, Wannetta Townsend, Betty Wyman and Marsha Reed; Dyer Brook, Marie Gillotti; Oakfield, Dolores Locke, Millie Gagnon, Elaine Barrett;  and Smyrna, Cindy Gray and Charlotte Marley.
If you would like information on the chapter, you may call Charlotte Marley at 757-8483 or any of the other ladies.
Come, wear a purple hat and enjoy fellowship.
