ISLAND FALLS – Ethel Carll, 81, died March 22, 2014, in Patten. She was born March 4, 1933, in Reading, Mass., the daughter of Henry and Sylvia (Dousette) Muise.
She is survived by five children, June and Bernard Phelps of Island Falls, Joseph and Georgette Muise of Florida, Harry and Mary Carll of Florida, John Carll and his friend, Tiffany, of Medway, and Tina Carll of Millinocket; nine grandchildren, and several great-grandchildren; one brother, Henry of New Hampshire; and two sisters, Betty Conroy of Houlton, and Yvonne Jacard of Reading, Mass. She was predeceased by her parents; her husband, Clayton Carll; and several siblings.
The family would like to thank Hospice of Aroostook and Tiffany Coon for all their care and compassion.
Friends may call 8 a.m. Wednesday, at Bowers Funeral Home, 56 Sherman St., Island Falls, until time to move to a Mass of Christian burial held at 10 a.m. at St. Agnes Catholic Church, Island Falls, with Father David Raymond officiating.
