Please say hello to the new Animal Control Officer (ACO) Cathy Virgie, who comes to Houlton with great reference, and knowledge of the job. Ms. Virgie is replacing Kevin Upton, who has been Houlton’s ACO for the past eight years. Mr. Upton has done a great job and
we hate to see him leave. So from now on if you have an animal problem, you still will call the Houlton Police Department at (207) 532-2287 and ask for the ACO, but it will be Cathy Virgie who will be handling those calls.
