Take Off Pounds Sensibly Chaper 0233 of Houlton met at the Aldergate building on High Street for its Friday, April 4 meeting.
Diane Folsom is the leader and she presided. Sixteen ladies were weighed; four of these were KOPS (Keep Off Pounds Sensibly). Loser of the week was Brenda Lacostic with Cheryl Driscoll as runner-up. The 50/50 drawing was won by Millie Gagnon.
A review of our proceedings on the June workshop was gone over and plans were made. The theme of the workshop was agreed to be “Buzzing along to goal.” Cheryl Driscoll will head “A Matter of Balance” at Ricker Plaza, the date to be announced. Names were taken for the list of members.
Bessie Wyman gave a review of our contest, to be finished in 2-3 weeks. Every Friday morning chapter 0233 meets at the Aldergate building at 8-8:45 a.m.; a meeting is held at 9 a.m. and ends about an hour later. Come, enjoy and take off weight.
