The Varney Agency has announced the hiring of Lee Rossignol as director of sales. As the leader of sales, Rossignol will be responsible for developing and executing strategic initiatives, creating innovative sales solutions and leading commercial and personal lines teams to meet Varney Agency objectives. As Varney Agency continues to grow and enhance its operations, Lee will serve a strategic role in scaling the company’s sales channels and outreach to meet customer and partner needs.
He brings 26 years of experience in sales with 13 years of sales team management. Prior to joining Varney Agency, Rossignol most recently served as national sales director of Spectrum Pharmaceuticals, where he led a team of five district managers and 40 sales representatives. He also held leadership positions with Teva Pharmaceuticals and Cardinal Health, where he played an active role in the development of sales strategy and implementation of their corporate sales and marketing plan.

Rossignol earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration and marketing at University of Maine, Orono. He was born and raised in Winslow and now resides in Gorham.
