Cary Library next Lego Quest is Saturday, April 26

The Cary Library launched a new program, Lego Quest, for girls and boys ages 7 and older, and it has been a success among young builders.
“We require children to sign up  and we have space for 15 children,” said Shelley Murchie, coordinator.

One Saturday a month, a theme is chosen and Lego group members are challenged to build something related to the theme using their imagination and Legos. All Legos are provided.
The themes that the group has completed include a car, monochromatic and a vessel. The next Lego Quest will be April 26 from 10-11 a.m. The theme is two-dimensional.
“I believe we will continue through spring and summer with the Lego Club because we have had such a huge response,” added Murchie.

Cary Library has been offering Lego Quest for children age 7 and older one Saturday a month since January. Each month, children are challenged to build a creation related to a particular theme by using their imaginations and of course, all the Legos they need.
