CARY PLANTATION – Emmons C. Cleary, 67, died April 10 in Houlton. He was born February 22, 1947, in Houlton, the son of Shirley and Eunice (Miller) Cleary.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, serving during Vietnam. He was the co-owner of Shiretown Taxi, enjoyed woodworking, watching movies and going to church.
He is survived by his wife, Sheila (Wiley) Cleary of Cary Plantation; six children, Richard Cleary of Bar Harbor, Deanna Cleary, Paul Cleary and Renee Tucker, all of Houlton, Michelle Pierlioni of Hodgdon and Allen Dupuis of Charleston; 15 grandchildren; three brothers, Shirley Cleary Jr. of Cary Plantation, Donald Cleary of E. Hodgdon, James Cleary of CA; several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his parents; two sisters, Joanne and Jeanette; and a brother, Edwin.
