ORIENT – Mary Grace Foley, 90, died April 11, 2014, peacefully at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born Feb. 9, 1924, in Cary, the daughter of Frank H. and Emma (Brewer) Spooner.
Mary was a loving and caring mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who enjoyed spending time with and cooking for her family.
She is survived by her eight children, James and Brenda Hall of Littleton, Gary Hall of Amity, Joseph and Linda Foley of Cornish, Ronald “Butch” and Virginia Foley of Cary, Dale Sr. and Donna Foley of Orient, Janice Foley of Orient, Donna McKnight of TX., and Marybeth Foley and Steve of Orient; 11 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; three sisters, Evelyn Marcellino, Ruby Spielman and Vera Eggert all of CT.
Mary was predeceased by her husband of 58 years, William Foley, brothers Earl and Vernon “Rusty” and greatgranddaughter Allison.
The family wishes to thank Drs. Sussman and Abouleish as well as the nursing staff at Houlton Regional Hospital for their tender loving care. Private services for the family will be held at a later date.
