Take Off Pounds Sensibly Chapter 0233 of Houlton met at the Aldergate building on High Street for its Friday, April 18 meeting. Sixteen ladies were present; four of these were KOPS (Keep Off Pounds Sensibly).
The meeting was led by Charlotte Marley. The loser of the week was Betty Wyman with Denise Clark as runner-up. The skinny dish was taken home by Betty Whited with the 50/50 going to Betty Wyman. Cheryl Driscoll gave a report and Betty Wyman reported on the Easter contest. She reported that Charlotte Marley won the Easter contest for KOPS and Marsha Reed for TOPS.
Barbara Grant talked about a challenge given her when she left during the winter for out of state. Charlotte then conducted a game giving each lady a ball to toss to another person and when the ball reached she would read a question. The question could be to name four vegetables in the color red.
Charlotte also read a few facts on chocolate. The next meeting is April 25 at the same location.
