Region Two health class raises funds for Pennies for Patients

HOULTON, Maine — Region Two’s health science class completed fund raising for the “Pennies for Patients” campaign, sponsored by the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. The students sold tickets for a drawing to win their choice of two prizes, a women’s or men’s watch. The drawing was held March 21 and the winners were Isaac Cone, who won the women’s watch, and Leanne Bither who won the men’s watch.

Morgan Ross, a student who completed the school’s EMS Class in the fall and is now in Health Science was the chairperson of the campaign. The total amount raised at Region Two for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society’s “Pennies for Patients” campaign was $294.
