HOULTON – Elwood Kelly, 81, died April 28, 2014, in Houlton. He was born May 11, 1932, in Houlton, the son of Ansel and Lucy (McCordick) Kelley.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. Elwood loved to climb Mt. Katahdin, hike and fish. He worked for Thompson Oil and Dead River for several years.
He is survived by a daughter, Julie Foster and her husband, Floyd; a granddaughter, Courtney Schools and her fiance, Garrett Christian of Livermore Falls; several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his parents; twin brother, Eldon; and two sisters, Althea Gravel and Edna Jones.
