LITTLETON – Patricia Ann Campbell, 74, born on August 5, 1939, youngest child of Percy and Marion Boles of Amity, passed away on April 24, 2014, in Farmington with family at her side. She had suffered from ill health for many years and was finally relieved of that suffering.
“Pat” was a life-long resident of Aroostook County until the last year of her life. She was married to Joel W. Campbell, “Jr.” of Littleton on June 8, 1965. Together they thrived on their Littleton potato farm for many years where she was surrounded by animals that she so dearly loved. She lived life to its fullest and took an active part in the community of Littleton in many ways. As a young woman, she had been a telephone operator and also served as a bus driver for MSAD #29.
Pat is survived by her children, Jeff Campbell and wife, Jacki, and Lucinda Brooker and husband, Leigh; beloved grandchildren, Matthew and Jennifer Campbell, Kylee and Brett Brooker. Pat’s extended family of nieces, nephews, cousins, special cousins Barbara McGuire of Linneus, Mary F. Simpson of Bangor, thought a great deal of her. She was predeceased by her husband of 37 years, “Junior” Campbell; her parents; sisters, Madeline Reed, Margorie Grant and Geraldine Maffeo; and brother, Harold Boles.
Pat’s bright smile and outgoing personality will be greatly missed by both her family and also by her many caring friends at Crest View Manor, Houlton and Sandy River Care Center, Farmington. Pat will be taken home to Amity and laid to rest with her parents and loving brother, Harold Boles.
A memorial service honoring Pat’s life will be held later this spring. Those who wish to remember Pat in a special way may make contributions to either the Houlton Animal Ark Sanctuary or to the Crest View Manor Activity Fund, c/o Dunn Funeral Home, 11 Park Street, Houlton, ME 04730.
