IVORYTON, CT – Reynold Brown was born in Fort Kent, Maine on October 28, 1934. He passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, May 13, 2014.
He was an avid fisherman and pilot. Reynold loved to fly with his friends from the Chester, CT Airport. He was also a former member of the Essex Sportsman Club and the former owner of Lower Valley Form Service – Middlesex Concrete Construction. Reynold marveled at new technology and leaves behind his iPad instructor and little buddy Dylan Brown, his grandson. He loved the outdoors and previously enjoyed his home, which he built himself in VT where he could enjoy the mountains and take care of his little farm and sugar grove. He was baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses and had full confidence in the resurrection hope.
He was predeceased by his father, William Earl Brown, and his mother Leda Marie Brown (Therrieault); by his brother, Harry Brown of Houlton; his sister, Patricia Marie Brewer of Mars Hill; and his son-in-law, Rodney Victor Beal of Glover, Vermont.
Reynold is survived by his wife of 63 years, Alma Elizabeth Brown (Donnelly); his brother, Earl William (Brownie) Brown of Ivoryton, CT; his son, William Earl Brown and wife, Patricia Brown of Clinton, CT; his son, Michael Harry Brown of Ivoryton; his daughters, Lynn Marie (Brown) Beal of Glover, VT, Linda Lee (Brown) Aldrich and her husband, Stephen, of Brownington, VT, Nancy Brown-Denny and her husband, William, of Moodus, CT; along with nieces, nephews, twelve grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandson, all whom he loved dearly.
