Spring is greening up finally and the United States Flags are flying. Thanks to John Cox for donating his time to hang the flags up along the Ludlow Road.
Selectmen’s nomination papers are being delivered to the office for the Town Meeting in July. The sexton is preparing the cemetery for Memorial Day and hopefully the new Ludlow Cemetery sign will be installed weather permitting for Memorial Day. Volunteerism is alive and well as students from the area high schools donate their time to help towns, businesses and citizens learn to give back to their communities. You may see students giving their community spirit in Ludlow to fulfill their obligations over the next few weeks.
Thanks to everyone for their patience with the roads. A long cold winter and extended frost and rain have made it difficult to grade, but the crews are ready to go. It is wonderful to get some dry weather to assist the process this week.
