DYER BROOK, Maine — On Monday, May 26, at 7:05 a.m. Maine State Police were called to a single vehicle rollover crash on Interstate-95 in the southbound lane near Dyer Brook. Karen Deliberis, 55, of Coventry, R.I. was traveling south in a 2012 Hyundai, when she lost control of the vehicle, left the roadway and rolled the car over.
Deliberis and her two passengers Emily Mowry, 14, and Nicole Deliberis, 22, also of Coventry, R.I. were trapped in the vehicle and had to be extricated by Houlton Fire first responders. All three occupants had minor injuries and were transported by the Houlton Ambulance Service to Houlton Regional Hospital and released.
At the time of the crash the roadway was wet and likely contributed to the cause of the crash, police said.
