The Island Falls Senior Citizens met on June 19 at the municipal building with 14 members present. After a delicious potluck lunch, our business meeting was opened by President Rich Camire. After the Lord’s Prayer and the flag salute, the secretary and treasurer’s reports were read and accepted.
Our tax number problem was solved to everyone’s satisfaction, and as there was no pressing business, we played several games of Bingo with Gladys Corneil as our big winner.
Members present at the meeting were: Rich Camire, Edith Dwyer, Judy Botting, Mary Pipes, Gloria Noyes, Helen Sherman, Ellie Peck, Jeanne Clements, Gladys Corneil, Ursula Levesque, Ramona White, Mary Lawler, Edward Dwyer and Terry Dwyer.
Our next meeting will be held on July 2 with a potluck lunch at 11:30 a.m., followed by our monthly bag game.
