LITTLETON – Dana McAfee, 84, died July 31, 2014 in Houlton. He was born December 20, 1929, in Houlton, the son of James and Roxie (Sewell) McAfee.
Dana was a veteran of the US Army, serving in the Korean War.
He is survived by his wife of 58 and a half years, Betty McAfee of Littleton; four children, Thomas and Susan McAfee of Houlton, Andrew McAfee, Roxie and Chris Tarr, all of Littleton, Jody and Beth McAfee of Linneus; five grandchildren, Brandon, Amanda, Melinda, Steven and Brian; two great-grandchildren, Gracie Sue and Olivia; daughter-in-law, Donna McAfee; brothers and sisters, Laura Snell of Houlton; Judy and Harold Fitzpatrick of Littleton, David and Judy McAfee of Augusta, Kenneth and Darlene McAfee of Littleton, Richard and Carleen Strout of Waterville; several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his parents; a son, Dan; siblings Philip, Clarence, Orin, Donald, John, Albert, Phyllis and Nonnie; a brother-in-law, Elmer.
Friends called 12-1 p.m. on Saturday, August 2 at Bowers Funeral Home, 10 Water Street, Houlton where funeral services were held at 1 p.m. with the Rev. Gary Johnson officiating.
