Island Falls Senior Citizens met at the Municipal Building on Aug. 21. After a delicious potluck luncheon, our meeting was opened by Vice President Darrell Hartin. Following the Lord’s Prayer and flag salute, the secretary and treasurer’s reports were read and accepted. A short discussion followed on our foliage outing in October, with no decision made. After the meeting was adjourned, we played several games of Bingo with Verna Boone being the top winner.
Members present were: Donna Furrow, Edith Dwyer, Iona Nadeau, Dennis Boone, Verna Boone, Ellie Peck, Ursula Levesque, Mary Lawler, Gloria Noyes, Darrell and Sherry Hartin, Helen Sherman, Jeanne Clements, Mary Pipes, Terry Dwyer, Paige Coville, Verna MacArthur and a new member, Mary Joy.
Our next meeting will be held on Sept. 4. All new members are welcome.
