Lately, I have been entertained by the wildlife in my back yard some of which was provided by a gray squirrel, of all things. I was enjoying looking at my flower garden out back when a large black crow appeared and proceeded to eat something that he had caught. Suddenly the gray squirrel approached him at full tilt and scared the crow off. This kept happening and then, two more crows appeared and the little gray squirrel attacked all three of them. I was wondering who was going to win when they all decided to give up the fight and all took off, never to return to finish eating whatever they were fighting about.
Also, I have been entertained by not one, but three fawns who have begun to arrive quite regularly in my large back lawn. They graze awhile then play a little, leaping and dancing all around. Haven’t seen the mother yet but I’m sure she is keeping her eye on them as usually, after they have been grazing for some time, they suddenly take off and head for the woods nearby and she was probably telling them it was bedtime
