PROVIDENCE, RI & AMITY, ME – Leta V. (Williams) Jordan passed away on August 28, 2014, in East Providence, RI at 83 years of age. She was born in Amity, ME on July 13, 1931 to the late Melvin & Mamie (Seamans) Williams.
She was a graduate of Hodgdon High School and Barrington College. She had been an active member of the Barrington Baptist Church and a faithful member of the choir for many years.
She is survived by a son, Stephen Jordan of Fort Lauderdale, FL; three sisters, Floris Williams of Hodgdon, Joyce White of Hermon, and Elzina Forbes of Malvern, PA; and a brother, Cecil Williams of Houlton. She also had many nieces and nephews that she loved very much and they loved her too. She will be missed by all.
She was predeceased by three brothers, Basil, Leonard, and Mervin Williams; and a sister, Madelyn Edwards.
There will be no visiting hours, but a memorial service will be held at a later date for family only.
