To the editor:
Rep. Ricky Long and I have served together in the Legislature for the last four years. He is an outstanding legislator, and I am proud to call him a friend. Ricky is in the Legislature to do what is best for Maine’s people. He is a staunch advocate for second amendment rights, and is looked to as a leader on the issue. During the past two years, there were several attempts to infringe on Mainers’ second amendment rights, and Ricky was crucial in the fight to stop those attempts.
Ricky has also been a constant in standing up for the taxpayers of Maine. He is a strong voice for smaller government and for ensuring that tax dollars are used wisely. Ricky understands how hard folks work to earn a dollar, and that has a big impact on how he makes decisions in Augusta.
I encourage you to vote for Ricky Long in November. He is an excellent representative for the folks of southern Aroostook County.
