LITTLETON – Erlon Williams, 86, died Sept. 23, 2014, at his daughter’s home in Machias. He was born May 3, 1928, in Littleton, the son of Joy Richard and Natalie (Ewings) Williams.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving during Korea. He worked for Bubar Farms for over twenty years, and after that for Gary Wilson, Skip Anderson and Mark Pryor. He was a member of the Cornerstone Baptist Church.
He is survived by three daughters, LeeAnn Lord and Sherrill of Houlton, Kathy Kimball and Bob of Westbrook and Penny Guerra and Elson of Machias; five grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren; one sister, Lois Haney of Littleton and two brothers, Almon and Allison Williams of Sanford and Albert and Marie Williams of Littleton; several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his parents; his wife, Myrtle; a daughter, Vicky; and a brother, Richard.
Friends called 6-8 p.m. Friday at Bowers Funeral Home, 10 Water St., Houlton, where funeral services were held 10 a.m. Saturday with Chester Emmons officiating. Interment was in the Littleton Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Cornerstone Baptist Church, 216 Main St., Littleton, ME 04730.
