HOULTON – Brenda L. (Ayotte) Fredericks, 75, wife of the late Kenneth Fredericks, passed away peacefully Oct. 10, 2014, surrounded by her family at a local nursing facility. She was born Sept. 6, 1939, at Houlton, the daughter of Pauline (Stone) and Fred Ayotte, Jr.
Brenda enjoyed working the ticket booth with her daughters during the Houlton Agricultural Fair for many years. She loved playing bingo.
Brenda is survived by her daughters, Cindy Schools and her husband, Ken, Suzanne Adams, Tammy McLean and her husband, Trevor, Cathy Williams, Lisa Krahn and her husband, Stan; eleven grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren; her siblings, Carl Ayotte and his wife, Barb, Mary Lovely and her husband, Bret, Mike Ayotte and his wife, Penny; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents; her husband, Ken; her daughter and son-in-law, Cheryl and Barry Clark; her siblings, Susan Woods, Anne Marie Ayotte and Earle Ayotte.
Friends may call at the Dunn Funeral Home on Wednesday, Oct. 15 at 9:30 a.m. until the time of departure. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Saint Mary of the Visitation Church with Deacon Ron Ouellette officiating. Interment will be in the St. Mary’s Cemetery.
