SHERMAN – Evelyn J. McDonald, 89, died Oct 19, 2014, in Houlton. She was born Dec. 5, 1924, in Sherman, the daughter of Cecil and Blanche (Conroy) Robinson.
She was a member of the St. Benedict’s Catholic Church / St. Josephs Mission and St. Mary’s Catholic Church, the Daughters of the Isabella, Houlton Council of Catholic Women and the Social Justice and Peace committee. She is survived by two children, Stephen McDonald and Linda Palmer of Houlton and Luanne Crinion and Michael Labbe of Brunswick; two daughters-in-law, Janice Springer Kennedy of Sherman and Gloria McDonald of Jonesport; nine grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter; two nephews and several cousins. She is predeceased by her parents; her husband, Daniel; two sons, Michael (Micky) and Barry; a brother, Frank Robinson; and son-in-law, Chris Crinion.
Friends may call 6-8 p.m. Thursday, October 23 at Bowers Funeral Home, Island Falls. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Mary’s of the Visitation, Houlton, with Father Dave Raymond celebrant.
